Biography
Michael Dennis "Mike" Rogers, born on July 16, 1958, in Hammond, Indiana, is a Republican politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Alabama's 3rd Congressional District since 2003. A sixth-generation resident of East Alabama, Rogers was raised in Calhoun County, where his father worked as a firefighter and his mother as a textile worker. He is married to Beth Rogers, and together they have three children: Emily, Evan, and Elliot. The family resides in Weaver, Alabama, and are members of Saks Baptist Church.
