Biography

Blake David Moore, born on June 22, 1980, in Ogden, Utah, is a Republican politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Utah's 1st congressional district since January 3, 2021. In November 2023, he was elected Vice Chair of the House Republican Conference, becoming the first Utahn to hold a leadership position in the U.S. House or Senate.

Before his congressional tenure, Moore worked as a Foreign Service Officer for the U.S. Department of State, gaining firsthand experience in international relations and national security. He later joined Cicero Group, a Utah-based management consulting firm, where he led projects across various sectors, including education, healthcare, and public policy.

Moore is married to Jane Boyer, and together they have four sons: Max, George, Winston, and Franklin. He remains actively involved in his community, notably serving as a Little League coach.
